Frequently asked questions

Solo and Firm are professional-only. A signed-in user with confirmed email submits public practice details for human review before new checkout or unpaid resume. Attorneys supply a professional body and registration number; mediators need not be LPC registered. No checkbox or email domain automatically approves you. Firm requires a verified owner; up to four delegated colleagues need no separate verification. Verification is not endorsement or a guarantee. Existing genuinely paid subscriptions and renewals retain their rights; no unpaid checkout is grandfathered. A genuine payment from an older unverified form is recorded for private payment review: contact familylaw@mpw.co.za, do not pay again. Withdrawal blocks future purchases, not already-paid rights.

R499 covers one declaring person and proceeding, with 30-day access after its first paid export. Financial corrections and either PDF format are permitted for that same bound matter during the reprint period. Changing the declaring person's name, identity or proceeding dates, or exporting a different matter, needs separate access. Saving or deleting a draft does not reset a purchase.

Cancellation stops future renewal, not the downloads you have already paid for. Downloads and paid Firm access continue through the paid-through date shown in Your plan, then end. A failed or unpaid renewal does not extend that date; renewal-retry grace is not paid download access. Manage an existing agreement before starting another recurring purchase.

Working drafts stay in your browser and are separated by account. Account saving is optional and lets you reopen a saved matter on another device. Unsaved disclosure is sent for paid checking and PDF generation only when you request a download; the generated PDF is not stored. Uploaded annexures and separately saved matters remain private account records. Save important working data explicitly before changing device or clearing browser storage.

Upload PDF, PNG or JPEG documents explicitly to a saved matter: up to 30 files, each at most 5 MB. Downloads include a separate supporting-document index, numbered annexure dividers and supporting pages, with exact originals embedded as PDF attachments. Unreadable documents stop the download rather than disappearing silently. Bundles are limited to 300 pages. Check the labels and each document before filing; inclusion does not verify authenticity or admissibility.

No. Review each transaction before applying any values. Credits can include own transfers, loans or refunds rather than income; debits can also be transfers or once-off spending. Opening and closing balances, credits and debits help you reconcile the statement, but do not decide its legal classification. Unreviewed or unknown lines must not be treated as verified earnings or expenses.

No. Existing and new saved matters are private by default. A matter owner can explicitly share with an active Firm team; current colleagues may read and download, not replace the owner's saved answers. Uploaded annexures follow that permission. Removed members and teams whose paid Firm period has ended lose colleague access. Firm includes the owner within its five-user limit.

Saved matters show dated save/edit, share/unshare, annexure and successful export events. The history is append-only for account users. It is a basic activity record, not a verified legal audit, change-by-change reconstruction or proof that figures are accurate.

Signed-in users can submit a support request from their account. Requests from an active Firm team are marked priority by the service. The monitored support inbox is familylaw@mpw.co.za, and each stored request triggers a notification there. No response time is promised, and support is not legal advice.

One active login is allowed per account. A newer login replaces the older one; signing out on the new device does not reactivate the old login. Your per-account browser draft is retained, but does not automatically move to another device or another account.

If you have paid for a Single Matter and have not yet exported the completed disclosure, contact us within 14 days and we will refund you in full. Monthly and annual plans can be cancelled at any time and remain active until the end of the paid period.

Unlimited matters and PDF downloads while your subscription is active. On verified Attorney / Mediator (Solo) and Firm plans you can open and work on as many disclosure matters as you need, with no per-matter charge. Fair use applies: the plan covers your own practice's matters, not resale or use as a bureau service for unrelated third parties.

No. The platform assists with the preparation and organisation of financial information only. It does not tell you what to claim, and every figure and classification remains reviewable by you and your attorney before anything is finalised, signed, or filed.

Rule 43 interim applications in the High Court, Rule 58 interim applications in the regional magistrates' courts, and family or divorce mediation. It is a preparation tool: the questionnaire follows the prescribed financial disclosure form, but courts and mediators may have their own practice requirements, so check before filing.

No. At the final review you choose the Rule43 Disclosure form or the original court-form layout. Both are filled from the same answers. For the same paid matter you can download either format, or both, while your access or reprint period lasts.

Yes. Occasional users can choose Single Matter at R499 per matter instead of subscribing — the same full guided form, calculations, and export, with 30-day access to the matter.
